On this ground fed by different theological approaches, different schools have used this theological instrument extensively. When it comes to al-Ghazali, it was theologically unwelcome for the parties to dismiss each other on an issue subject to interpretation and due to their interpretation, and a limitation was imposed. Takfir, which continues to be used as a tool in othering, is an instrument used extensively by predecessor theological approaches. In the Islamic theological tradition, it is seen that the basis of the concept of takfir is a problem area arising from the theological perceptions of the schools. For this reason, takfir is not a simple marginalization, but has preserved its existence as a discourse that also has religious, legal and economic implications. The concept is a border expression that distinguishes the Islamic from the non-Islamic. It refers to the separation of a teaching that presents itself as the true religion from members of other religions. However, in the later stages of the process, it seems to have been used as a means of marginalizing within the structure. Faith, which is a marker for non-Muslims, has been a reason for otherization among Islamic believers, both at the intellectual and de facto level, at the intellectual level since the first generation. The conflicts in the political arena have created fierce competition, which has increased the dose of violence. In the picture that emerged, it played a primary role in the formation of takfir sects. Since the first generation of Muslims, it has never been missing in the process, and this marginalization has gained momentum in some periods of history. Takfir, which basically gives the appearance of a theological and epistemological problem, also gained a political and social quality in the process. The perception of takfir, which does not give life to religious tolerance and pluralism among Islamic belief schools, has also been effective in the dominance of a single truthful theological perception in the field.
