Özet

In this paper man's giving thank to God and God's giving thank to man will be examined.This matter has been given much importance in Islam, thus being referrred to in the Qor'an more than seventy places.Although it has been stated in the Qur'n that Allah loves his servants who give thanks to God and hence will be grateful to them, at present some of Muslims do not know this matter sufficiently.Therefore we tried to clarify how Abu Mansur al-Maturidi, one of the prominent Muslim scholars, dealt with this matter, so that a contribution be made to the sound understanding of religion.
