Abstract

The book is devoted to well-known scholars of Sufism in Central Asia and their tenets. The book discusses similarities and differences between Abu Mansur Maturidi and Ash’ari’s conceptions, reasons for Ghazali’s popularity in Central Asia, essence of Ibn-al Arabi, Shahab ad-Din Suhravardi’s tenets, Khodja Ubaydullah Ahrar’s adherents’ movement to India, Sheikh Ahmad Sirhindi’s conception’s spreading to Central Asia and Sufi Allayar’s tenets. In the article “Tasavvuf darg’alari” information about sufis such as Hasan Basri, Rabiya Adaviya, Sahl Ibn Abdullah, Sari Saqati, Bayazid Bistami, Junayd Bagdadi, Abu Hasan ibn Muhammad Nuri, Zunnun Misri, Abu Bakr Shibli, Abu Abd ar-Rahman al-Sulami, Abu Bakr Kalabadi, Abu Nasr Sarraj, Abul Karim Kushayri, Abul Hasan Hujviri who played an important role in forming Sufism in Central Asia is given.
