ANTROPOMORFISME DALAM KITAB TAFHIM AL-QUR’AN KARYA ABU A’LA AL-MAUDUDI

This article examines the concept of anthropomorphism in the Qur'anic commentary, Tafhim al-Qur'an, by Abul A'la Maududi. Content analysis is employed as the research methodology. The findings reveal that Maududi's interpretation of anthropomorphic verses tends to be moderate and aligns with the Ash'ari theological school. Maududi predominantly utilizes the method of ta'wil (interpretation) for anthropomorphic verses, consistently seeking to reinterpret their literal meanings to convey more appropriate understandings.Keywords: Abul A'la al-Maududi, Anthropomorphism, Tafhim al-Qur'an
