The research on The Ijtihad of Prophet Muhammad saw in the Perspective of Must} afa> S{ abri> (1869-1954); Analysis Study of the Ijtihad of the Prophet and the Authority of the Hadith concludes that the authority of the hadith which is affiliated to the Ijtihad of the prophet does not have sufficient authority as a source of Islamic law, although in some respects this hadith convey a truth information.This thesis reinforces the opinion of 'Abd al-Jali> l Isa> , 'Abd al-Nasr ( 2001), Muhammad Sayyid T{ ant} awi> ( 2009), and Yusuf al-Qarad{ a> wi> about the Ijtihad of Muhammad.They argue that the existence of Ijtihad of Prophet Muhammad was true and it's part arguments of his humanity.It also weakens the contemporary biographers of Muhammad such as Muhammad H{ usein Haikal (2000) who is highly affected by the development of modern science and takes aside the prophetic aspect, miracle, and divinity in the life of the prophet.In this study, The Companions response to hadiths related to xvii 2.
