ABSTRACT Importance of Maturidi's Thought System Imam Maturidi is one of the most important schollar in Islamic word, because of that he improved Turkish religious understandig. His system is based od Tehe Book (Koran), Prophet's traditions and custom and usage and it improved by way of interperatation (te'vil). It was constitude of Turkish religious understanding.
