This article is devoted to the study of Abū Ishāq al-Saffār’s biography and his system of belief views in the light of the Risāla fī l-kalām. Abū Ishāq al-Saffār was an outstanding scholar of the second half of the 11th century AD. He was a native of Mawaraunnahr and came from the family of the famous intellectuals. He had played a major role in dissemination of knowledge on the Hanafī-Māturīdī School all over the Turkish world. His contemporaries among ulama regarded him as the highest authority in fiqh and kalām
