Introduction
This paper focuses on Islam and inclusivism, which is one of the most debated issues related to Islam. Religious inclusivism accepts that there can be more than one way to salvation. There is a nexus between these rationalistic principles and ability to produce inclusive Islamic interpretations, as it was exemplified by the theological views of reformist scholar Musa Jarullah Bigiev. Although Musa Bigiev introduced his ideas more than one hundred years ago, gender equality and inclusive religious views are still denounced, even in the category of taboo issues in traditional conservative Islamic scholarship and public opinion.
