This article provides a detailed analysis and interpretation of the plot of the novel "Imam Maturidi" by the Uzbek writer Lukman Borikhan and the image of the main character in it - Abu Mansur Maturidi. In this work, the writer used a retrospective type of plot to describe the events of the past. In order to artistically depict the image of a historical figure, the plot of the novel is composed of a prologue, three main parts and an ending. The structure of the work's architecture thus serves to depict the image of Maturidi without departing from its historical basis.
