Basic Elements That Contribute to The Formation of Trust Society in The Light of Mâturîdî's Opinions

This article aims to identify and evaluate Māturīdī's ideas concerning the rejection of certain attitudes and beliefs that disrupt societal order and his contributions to overcoming specific challenges faced by society. In this context, Māturīdī's analyzes of the characteristic features of society, the nuances of his strategic approach to different groups, and his methods of combating various factions that harm the social order come to the fore. Within this scope, the article explores Māturīdī's socio-psychological analyzes concerning societal characteristics, as well as his refutations of certain views held by various religious and belief groups that persisted with their pre-Islamic convictions, which remained prevalent in the region. It also focuses on Māturīdī's methods of adressing various forms of fanaticism, which has many forms, as well as the violence, bigotry and divisive ideologies that led to societal conflict, including the excommunication of individuals accused of committing grave sins, resulting in the elimination of groups by one another. Additionally, this study evaluates his emphasis on fundamental principles such as tawḥīd, justice, equity, and tolerance, which contribute to meeting essential societal needs while strengthening interpersonal relationships marked by love, brotherhood, and solidarity. Within this context, his messages promoting coexistence, elevating individuals to higher levels of awareness, and ensuring the sustainability of societal order are analyzed. Based on these insights, strategies have been identified within the framework of Māturīdī's perspectives for the reform of contemporary societies and the development of methods to overcome current societal constraints.
