Mâtürîdî acknowledged that there is wisdom in everything God has created. Here the Ash'aris think differently. He focused on the wisdom in Allah's orders and prohibitions by shifting the scope of wisdom to religious commands. For, Allah is the All-Wise (al-Hakim al-Mutlaq) and Wise (Hakim). Only wisdom appears from the judge. This wisdom shows itself in creatures, orders and prohibitions. According to Imam Mâtürîdî, who is one of the two pillars of the Ahl al-Sunnah, the pioneer of Mâtürîdîsm, the subjects of belief and the principles of belief, which are the main divine commands, also include the aforementioned wisdom. Faith issues have more than one dimension of wisdom regarding people's lives in this world and the hereafter. Religion is not only aimed at the hereafter, but it contributes to believers who accept the principles of faith, the principles of belief that make them disciplined and happy in their worldly lives, and the wisdom they contain. According to Mâtürîdî, there is a great emphasis on the issues of faith in the Qur’an. Believers who accept these principles need to reach consciousness in matters of belief. This consciousness can only be realized by knowing the wisdom of the subjects of faith. In this direction, Mâtürîdî carefully processed the wisdom in the principles of faith.
