Maturidi, “Te'vilatu Ehli's-Sunne” adli tefsirinde imanda ziyadelik ifa-de eden ayetleri Kur'an'da gectigi sekliyle, farkli yerlerde yoruma tabi tut-mustur. Imanin niteliklerinden birisi olarak Kur'an'a konu olan “imanda artma” meselesinde Maturidi'nin bakis acisini ortaya koymak, bu alana ilis-kin dusunce ve bakis acilarimizi yeniden gozden gecirme, bilgimizi ve bilincimizi yenileme firsati sunacaktir. Bu amacla Maturidi'nin “imanda artma” meselesini konu alan ayetlere getirmis oldugu yorumlarini bir arada degerlendirerek, onun “imanda artma” konusuna bakis acisini belirlemeye calistik. Abstract Maturidi's Approach to The Verses Expressing “An increase in Faith” Maturidi, in his commentary called “Te'vilatu Ehli's-Sunne” interpreted the verses which express an increase in faith, as they are manifested in Koran in different places. To explicate Maturidi's point of view in the matter of “an increase in faith”, a subject matter in Koran as one of the features of faith, and to evaluate our thoughts and viewpoints with regard to this point will provide an opportunity for a restoration of our consciousness and our knowledge. For this aim, we attempt to specify Maturidi's point of view with regard to “an increase in faith” after an evaluation of his interpretations related to the verses addressing the matter of “an increase in faith”.
